Set within a period home, this project required a thoughtful approach to maximise space while maintaining a sense of softness and ease. Clever storage was key, with a central joinery module designed to seamlessly house the laundry, pantry, coffee station, and entertainment unit.
With space at a premium, an invisible induction cooktop integrated into the benchtop allowed for a clean, uninterrupted surface. The brief called for a finish that felt fresh and contemporary, yet warm and restrained — achieved through the use of textured tiles, subtle colour, and timber accents. Natural light was enhanced by replacing the traditional splashback with a window, bringing brightness into the heart of the home.
